I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology II of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, where I'm working on the MAPINEQ project.

Research interests include:  diffusion of institutions, social epistemology, and social stratification

Methodologically, I have used both analysis of secondary data as well as experiments, which I have usually coded and implemented myself. See my github for code. But I am also interested in simulations, formal modelling, qualitative investigations, and general theoretical research. (Though I'm not necessarily particularly competent at any of those things).

I received my PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, where I was supervised by Klarita Gërxhani.  The full thesis is available here.
